Wildrose Senior Citizens

The Wildrose Senior Citizens has been in existence since approximately 1976. They received their Certificate of Incorporation on February 2, 1977 and its Internal Revenue Status on July 18, 1977.

In Early 1978 the Wildrose Senior Citizens decided to construct the Senior Citizens Center on Main Street. This was accomplished with a lot of volunteer labor from Wildrose and the surrounding area.

Membership to the Senior Citizens is open to anyone who is 55 years of age or older. Dues are $5.00 for the year. We welcome new members so come join us. We enjoy card playing and have a pool table. We have an exercise machine for members use and an exercise group meets twice weekly. We have a library and book exchange for those who like to read.

There is a catered meal at the Center every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. The price is $12.00 for everyone under 60 years of age. For everyone 60 years of age and older we ask a donation of $5.00. You do not have to be a member to come for the meal.

We have a business meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 1.00 p.m. We  also  celebrate members birthdays. On the third Tuesday of every other month we have foot care provided by the public health nurse. The months schedule is posted at the post office or you can call one of he people listed below.
